Researchers published data illustrating the potential utility of S100A12 (EN-RAGE) as a predictive biomarker of functional outcome after ischemic stroke. While further studies are needed, increased plasma levels of EN-RAGE were shown to correlate significantly with increased risk of poor functional outcome.
