Alastair Smith

Alastair Smith, a Director of Sales for Rules-Based Medicine covering the UK and Scandinavia, has over 11 years of technical sales, business development and marketing experience in the life sciences sector. Alastair holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology, and started his commercial career at Thermo Hybaid, before moving onto BD Biosciences in the role of Key Account Manager and Marketing Specialist. Alastair then joined Invitrogen as their Business Development Manager focused on drug discovery services, and prior to Myriad RBM Alastair was Business Development Manager at Almac Diagnostics focused on providing genomics based biomarker solutions. Alastair also holds a Certificate in Management and a Diploma in Management.
