CYFRA 21-1 Fibrosis (CYFRA 21-1 Fibrosis)

Cytokeratin 19 fragment (CYFRA 21-1; Keratin 19) is a type 1 keratin and a member of the keratin family of intermediate filament proteins expressed by epithelial cells. CYFRA 21-1 is a potential prognostic biomarker of epithelial damage for idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF).
