Apolipoprotein A-IV (Apo A-IV)
Apolipoprotein A-IV (Apo A-IV) belongs to the apolipoprotein A1/A4/E family. It is a component of HDL and chylomicrons. Apo A-IV is synthesized primarily in the intestine where it was found to be a satiety signal that is secreted following the ingestion of a lipid-heavy meal.
