Cancer Antigen 125 Fibrosis (CA-125 Fibrosis)

Cancer Antigen 125 (CA-125, Mucin 16) is a glycoprotein encoded by the MUC16 gene and is a member of the mucin family of glycoproteins. CA-125 is a tumor marker elevated in serum and plasma for several specific types of cancers; most notably ovarian cancer. CA-125 is a potential prognostic biomarker of epithelial damage for idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF).
