Antileukoproteinase (ALP)

Antileukoproteinase (ALP) is an acid-stable proteinase inhibitor with strong affinities for trypsin, chymotrypsin, elastase, and cathepsin G. The expression of ALP may be affected by pulmonary and respiratory tract diseases. It may also be a candidate marker for several cancers.
