Tenascin-X (TN-X)
Tenascin-X (TN-X) is an extracellular matrix glycoprotein found primarily in loose connective tissue. Tenascins are abundant in the extracellular matrix of developing vertebrate embryos and they reappear around healing wounds and in the stroma of some tumors. Tenascin X is a homotrimer. TN-X expression levels are lower in adults than in children.
