Insulin-like Growth Factor Binding Protein 5 (IGFBP5)

Insulin-like Growth Factor Binding Protein 5 (IGFBP5) is found in serum and CSF. IGF-binding proteins prolong the half-life of the IGF-I and IGF-II and have been shown to either inhibit or stimulate the growth promoting effects of IGFs.
