Angiogenin (Angiogenin)

Angiogenin is a protein involved in angiogenesis. Angiogenin interacts with actin to activate tissue plasminogen activator, which in turn generates plasmin to destroy the basement membrane. Elevated levels of angiogenin have been detected in patients with pancreatic cancer. The angiogenin receptor has not yet been determined.
