Kallikrein 5 (Kallikrein 5)

Kallikrein 5 (KLK-5) is a serine protease that may regulate cell shedding along with Kallikrein-7 and Kallikrein-14. Expressed in the epidermis, KLK-5 can degrade proteins in the extracellular portion of cell junctions.
