Lymphotactin (Lymphotactin)

Lymphotactin is a small chemokine that has chemotactic for lymphocytes but not for monocytes or neutrophils, a characteristic that makes it unique among chemokines. Lymphotactin is produced by NK cells and attracts both NK and T-cells in vivo, but it does not affect the adhesiveness of NK cells to vascular endothelium. Like some other chemokines, it possesses suppressive activity against immature subsets of myeloid progenitors stimulated to proliferate by multiple growth factors.
